Member Pledge Form - 5782 (2021-2022)

5782 Membership Pledge Form for Full and Digital Memberships

Consistent with our values and Statement of Principles, we ask that each household make an informed decision of which Membership Commitment Level best reflects your ability to support our community through annual dues.We are committed to the principle that those with greater means will give more, and those with less will give up to their ability.

Think about the ikar/essence of what Mishkan Shalom offers and take a moment to reflect on what role this spiritual community plays in your life and the life of your family. Now, more than ever, our interdependence is evident.

Existing members know that we need each other in ways that we could not have imagined when they renewed their membership last year. When it comes to the issues we face in the coming year, new members will be heartened to know how seriously we have responded to the current situation and how grateful that you are joining our community.

To help guide your pledge decision, we have developed Membership Commitment Levels. Remember, Mishkan uniquely asks you to self-assess your dues contribution and in doing so, we hope that you will give with a nadiv lev/full heart.

Yahrtzeit, literally meaning "anniversary" in Yiddish, refers to the yearly memorial of the death of a loved one. Our membership database keeps a list of people you would like to memorialize. We notify you reminding you of an upcoming date and read their names before the mourners kaddish on the week of the anniversary.

Are there people whose yahrtzeits you would like to remember? If so, please provide

  • name
  • relationship to you
  • date of death

Note: this form does not process payments. It lets the office know what to expect. When you submit this form you'll be taken to a page where you will have the opportunity to make a payment, but you don't have to. You can send a check or set up recurring payments on a different page. Again, this information enables the office to track your pledge and payments.
