Mindfulness Classes to Prepare for Passover and the Omer March 20 and April 10

In classes on Wednesdays, March 20 and April 10, Rabbi Yael Levy will help participants explore using Jewish Mindfulness practice to prepare for Passover and Counting the Omer.

The Festival of Passover challenges us to leave the narrow places -- to leave the habits, behaviors, thoughts and stories that keep us bound and unable to expand into the fullness of our lives.

"Mindfulness practice is the simple and complex task of paying attention and directing our mind towards spaciousness and compassion," says Rabbi Yael. These classes will explore mindfulness techniques and reflect on ways to spiritually prepare for Passover and for the 49-day Mindfulness practice of Counting the Omer. 

The classes are part of the Adult Education program at Mishkan Shalom. It will meet from 6:15 to 8 p.m. Costs are $30 for members of Mishkan Shalom and $40 for non-members. To register, click here, call 215.508.0226 x0 or email office@mishkan.org.
