Chanukah Night by Night: Teachings, Prayers and Music for Chanukah

Image relating to [title]

As we kindle the lights of Chanukah beginning on Sunday night, December 6, A Way In Jewish Mindfulness organization is offering a special teaching for each of the eight days of the holiday.

Every day, Rabbi Yael Levy will post a teaching to the blog at the top of the middle column of the A Way In page as well as to Facebook and Twitter. Each day's post will also be e-mailed to subscribers to the A Way In newsletter mailing list. Click here to subscribe. Each posting will include a general teaching about spiritual aspects of Chanukah as well as a practice for each of the eight nights and days of the festival -- as well as links to songs to listen -- or perhaps dance -- to. On some days, Rabbi Yael will post a YouTube video with a song, including an explanation of why it was chosen. You might want to consider buying all the songs as a gift for yourself so you can have a playlist that calls forth the light and beauty of the season.

We would love to know your response to the music, the teachings and the practices.*

Please join in the conversation by posting your comments on Facebook, Twitter or on the A Way In blog. Suggestions for other music, readings, teachings, poems for each day would be a great gift you could offer the online community
