Register Now for A Way In Mystical Tu B'Shvat Seder
A Way In -- Jewish Mindfulness Center is sponsoring a Mystical seder in the tradition of the 16th century Jewish Mystics of the holy city of Safed. It will include ritual drinking of wine or grape juice and the mindful eating of fruits and nuts with the goal of emerging renewed and awakened, and inspired to work for sustainability in the natural world. Click here to see or download the flyer.
The seder is scheduled for Wednesday, February 8 from 6:15 to 8 p.m. in the third floor Heschel King Room at Mishkan Shalom, 4101 Freeland Avenue.
The prayer, meditation and song in the seder is designed to take participants on a journey through "four worlds" – four layers of reality: Beginning in the world of assiyah, the physical world, the seder progresses to the world of yetzirah, the world of emotions and feelings, then to beriyah, the world of creation, insight and intuition, and then to atzilut, the world of pure, divine spirit.
Cost for the seder is $25 for members of Mishkan Shalom and $36 for non-members. Pre-registration is required. See the A Way In Web site: mishkan.org/a-way-in, email mindfulness@mishkan.org or call the Mishkan Shalom office at 215-508-0226.
