Hukat:

At some point

            Each of us will die.

This is for sure.

But how we will live

Is an open question.

This is the dance.  This is the song.

Water flows to us from the source of creation.

Nourishment for the heart of life.

May we call forth the nourishment with love and patience.

May we call forth our lives with joy.

And when we don’t

And when we can’t

May the waters of creation bathe us with compassion

            And bestow upon us the capacity to forgive.

This is the dance. This is the song.
